It is simple to set up your personal account and submit your abstract!
First of all, click on the button below marked 'Click here for your first connexion' and follow the steps:
1- Enter your email address. It will be used to log into your personal account each time you visit the website.
2- Create your password. Your password should be easy for you to remember, something personal and at least 8 characters long.
3- Enter your personal information. All boxes with * are mandatory information and you will not be able to save your details unless these are completed.
4- Travel grants :
Some travel grants are available and offered either by EPC or IAP. if you wish to apply, you must meet the following criteria :
EPC travel grants:
EPC members with paid membership and below 35 years or EPC member with paid membership from a country from Eastern Europe
IAP travel grants:
IAP member with paid membership and below 35 years.
You will be notified on your acceptance for a travel grant by April 17, 2020.
A summary of your account information will appear on the screen. To finalize the procedure, please be sure to click on 'Create Account', otherwise your information will not be saved.
Please keep your login and password in an easy to retrieve location! It will be requested in order to confirm the final presenter.
Information will be sent only to the « contact author », for the e-mail address registered on login. This is why we recommend you provide the contact details of the presenting author when creating your author account.
Submission guidelinesBefore submitting your abstract, thank you for paying attention to the following guidelines:
=> Your abstract will have to be allocated to a specific category
- Acute and chronic pancreatitis experimental
- Acute pancreatitis, clinical
- Cell and molecular biology/ physiology
- Chronic pancreatitis, clinical
- Cystic pancreatic lesion
- Diabetes and exocrine/endocrine interactions
- Genetics (clinical and experimental)
- Neuroendocrine tumor, clinical
- Pancreatic cancer, clinical
- Pancreatic cancer experimental
- Pancreatic imaging
- Pancreatic surgery
=> Your abstract must be submitted in ENGLISH
, and must not be published
=> The abstract must respect the following framework:
- Materials and methods
- References (optional)
=> Your abstract (without the title and the list of authors) must not exceed 350 words
=> Table, image or figure may be used within your abstract.
Title and author’s names will have to be typed out in separate fields.
You will have Modifications72 hours
to modify your abstract.

No changes will be possible to the abstract once the submission deadline passed.
Results will be available from April 10th, 2020.
The authors who submitted the abstract(s) will receive an official email of acceptance.
They will have to confirm their participation as well as the name of the final presenter on their author account.
All accepted abstracts will be published in the framework of the congress in a special edition of the Pancreatology Journal.
The acceptance of an abstract does not mean free-of-charge participation. Registration, travel and accommodation will remain at the charge of abstract presenters.
